Flying and Crewing

For us, ballooning is a year-round sport with each season offering it's own unique
vistas and experiences. It's difficult to choose a favorite time of year to fly but
one thing is for certain. Once you're hooked, you can't stay away for long.

Spring, with the rebirth of all things green,
the fresh scent of flowers and newly mown grass is a glorious time to fly. The
brilliant colors of the balloon combine with natures new colors to lift your spirits as
the cabin fever of winter becomes a distant memory.
Summer, a time of warm
lazy days and easy living. It's the time of year for outdoor activities and
ballooning is the king of outdoor activities. There is simply no better means of
transportation to a good time, than by balloon. The many Balloon Festivals of summer
keep the balloonist busy flying lots of happy folks "living large" and loving
every minute of it.

Fall, the brilliant
colors of the foliage season in New England and the crisp cooler air of the season draws
many people into the air for sightseeing and photography flights. You'd better get
your flight reservations in early because most balloonists are completely booked for
natures limited time only display of color!

Winter, few people think
of flying this time of year but the crystal clear sky and cold temperatures let you see
forever and fly just about as long. Winter is a good time to train students and fly
your crew. The snowy fields and icicles on trees can make for rare and
beautiful photographs.
